Xinyi Deng is a research coordinator in the Action Research Collaborative (ARC) and the Life History Lab (LHL). She is passionate about clinical affective neuroscience, focusing on how affective disorders affect decision making and the underlying neural mechanisms. She is also interested in investigating how social contexts calibrate food security and reward processing, and how this interplay impacts individuals’ health. She hopes to translate neuroscience research into community interventions.
