Tashara M. Leak, PhD, RD is Co-Director of the Cornell Action Research Collaborative, Associate Professor in the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University and Division of General Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, and Associate Dean of Cornell Human Ecology. Leak is a nutrition scientist and registered dietitian who designs, implements, and evaluates culturally relevant community-based interventions that address the impact of systemic racism and poverty on food access, diet, health, and healthy food access among historically marginalized urban communities.
